A Candle Vs The Storm

There were two brothers. Both were high-class millionaires. They had their own business. Both were doing good. They loved each other. They were there because of their struggles. But one day, life wanted to test them again. But this time, a difficult test. Losses started happening in their business. They lost the market grip at the same time. Stocks went down and investors put their hands off. They lost everything. After a couple of weeks, they decided to take a job in any field. They set off. No one was offering them even a small job and they faced rejections. These rejections affected them badly. The big brother quit searching for a job. He started living a miserable life, spending money he saved on boozes, hanging out with negative friends and abusing people around them. But the younger one, he had a small spark left in his heart. He didn’t quit. He kept searching.

One day, the sun shined again for the younger one. After facing a lot of rejections, he found one restaurant. But the owner was not ready to keep him since he wasn’t in need. The young gentleman said, “Sir, I truly admire your words but I have lost everything. I just want to keep myself busy. You just keep me here and I’ll work for no money. I just want to be a busy person again.” The owner replied politely, “In that case, I don’t have any problem. But I won’t pay you. Is that cool?” He replied, “Yes sir.” And he started working as a dishwasher right after the conversation.

He was working like he used to work for himself. He was the first man to come in and the last one to go out. He was utilizing every piece of his working hours. Everybody was happy with his work and after 5 weeks the owner decided to pay him. One day, the general manager quit the post and the post was vacant. The owner needed a genuine worker and guess what, whom did he choose? Yes. The dishwasher. He got the post of the general manager.

Wait. What happened to the elder brother? Miserably saying, he quit himself. But the younger one lived out. He made it. He really did.

Look, it’s so simple. Even though you are broken right now, doesn’t mean your chapter is going to end. You just need to have the fire in your heart which is stronger than any storm. Light up that fire and go with it. Like fire, discipline, patience, and persistence will help you to fight that storm. Don’t worry. Your time is coming. Good breaks are coming. You are going to meet the people of your dreams. Hold on. But don’t lose faith and don’t give up at any cost.

Leave your mark.
